Nilna Terms of Service

Last updated: October 13, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Nilna iOS app. Nilna is a private rehearsal tool for in-person gift handoffs. By tapping Enter rehearsal or otherwise using Nilna, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

1. The service

Nilna lets you:

After Enter rehearsal, Nilna may contact Nilna’s edge Worker to open a studio session, obtain drafting configuration, and show an optional stage page in an in-app WebView. Nilna does not provide a public social feed, chat, Credits, subscriptions, or in-app purchases.

2. Eligibility

You must be allowed to use this app under the laws that apply to you. Nilna is not directed to children.

3. Your content

You retain rights in the names, gift descriptions, lines, notes, photos, and recordings you add. You are responsible for that content and confirm you have the right to use it in Nilna.

Do not use Nilna to store content that is illegal, infringing, or harassing, or that you do not have permission to use. Opening lines are for your personal rehearsal. They are not legal, medical, or professional advice.

4. License to operate the app

You grant Nilna a limited license to process your content solely to provide the features you request: display it back to you, generate or polish an opening line, save a rehearsal take, crop a profile photo, copy a rehearsal card to the clipboard when you tap Share, and operate the studio session / stage page when those features are used.

5. Storage and accounts

Enter rehearsal creates a local login state on this device and may also create a Worker studio session used for drafting configuration and the stage page. There is no email or password account in Nilna.

Log out returns you to the start screen, clears the local login token and the in-memory Worker studio session, and leaves Gift Files and profile on the device. Delete Account permanently removes Gift Files, rehearsal audio, debriefs, avatar, nickname, and related preferences on this device. It does not delete copies you already copied to the clipboard or saved outside the app, and it does not delete data retained by third-party AI providers under their own policies.

The agreement checkbox on the start screen is optional. Leaving it unchecked does not block Enter rehearsal.

6. Permissions

Studio photos may need Camera or Photo Library. Rehearsal recording needs Microphone. You may refuse a permission. Creating a Gift File, drafting a line, and running the timer still work without those permissions.

7. Acceptable use

8. Third-party services

Opening-line generation uses OpenRouter, a third-party AI service that routes requests to model providers. Drafting endpoints and keys are supplied by Nilna’s Worker at session start. When you request a line, the fields described in our Privacy Policy are sent to OpenRouter and its selected model provider. Their services and handling of request data are subject to their applicable terms and privacy policy.

Nilna does not process payments inside the app. The optional stage WebView may load a Worker-hosted welcome page or a configured web experience operated for Nilna.

9. Availability

Nilna is provided as-is. Features and availability may change. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation. Local data may be lost if you delete the app or your account. Studio drafting and the stage page require network access to the Worker and, for generation, to OpenRouter.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nilna and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, including Gift Files stored in the app. You are responsible for copying lines you care about. Nilna is not responsible for how a real-world gift moment goes.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. The date above shows the latest version. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
